My name is Anastasia and I am the owner and founder of VegShe.
Before attaining my wellness education, I attended Cal Poly Pomona where I completed my B.S. in Marketing with a minor in Women's Studies. During college I was hooked on workout DVD's. I was excited to find out that I could reach my goals from the comfort of my own home.
My 4th year in college, I started attaining my certifications. I began working in gyms, universities, and physical therapy offices to apply what I had learned.
Since then, my knowledge and experience in the world of fitness has grown. I am a NASM CPT and CNC, AFAA Group Exercise Instructor, and DotFit Practitioner. I also hold a Women's Fitness Specialization certificate from NASM. I've found what works for me and I am happy with the way I look and feel.
Since going vegan, I can honestly say I've never felt better. My beliefs and passion are in line with what I eat and how I exercise.
Through VegShe, I offer online group fitness, personal training and vegan nutrition coaching.
How Bitches Are Made
"We can look to Anastasia as an example for not only living our lives but changing our lives and making the really uncomfortable step into the unknown to make our lives more fulfilling" - Rachel Melvin
A little about me...
If you know me personally, you probably still can't believe this happened. Full transparency, I felt like Agent Gracie Hart in Miss Congeniality.
I didn't own any makeup and I had never even held a set of false lashes. It didn't matter much to me, I still wanted to compete. So in 2014, in Long Beach California, I participated in the Miss California USA Pageant.
Preparing for this event was a lot of work and I don't know that I've ever had so many blisters on my feet.
But, it was a fabulous weekend and a wonderful opportunity to try something I never thought I could. I am still close friends with my roomie from the pageant and I would do it all over again if given the chance.
